Superannuation Funds (SMSF)

Self Managed Superannuation Funds (SMSF) is a fund with fewer than five members managed by corporate or individual trustees. Government is encouraging Australians to take responsibility for their financial retirement goals and become self dependent retirees. Self-managed superannuation is a means of saving for retirement.

Superannuation law is a delicate area and personalised planning is required for each individual. Australian tax office is the regulator for the SMSF and their compliance requirements are increasing every year. SMSF has to comply with statutes (Superannuation Industry (Supervision) Act (SIS Act) and Income tax Act) from formation and compliance to winding up.

At Holistic Accounting and Taxation Services, we have the technical knowledge and experience to assist our clients with the day to day accounting, taxation, administration and annual compliance of self-managed superannuation funds. We also act with integrity and independently in offering SMSF auditing services. We also have a networking relationship with financial planners for our SMSF clients to obtain relevant financial advise.
